The MDmax-ST cabinet is a new product developed by ABB based on years of accumulated design and manufacturing experience. It mainly involves various aspects of the power sector, including automotive manufacturing, data centers, steel metallurgy, power plants, paper printing, petrochemicals, municipal infrastructure, food and pharmaceuticals, rail transportation, tobacco and liquor industries, and environmental treatment, with a very broad market prospect.
The frame of the MDmax-ST low-voltage switchgear adopts the double-fold edge technology of aluminum-zinc plate, making the cabinet assembly convenient and structurally robust. The shell is made of steel plate covered with powder coating, ensuring the highest durability. The door panels, top panels, rear panels, partitions, and side panels are installed with self-tapping screws. The product has three functional units: modular, movable, and plug-in, achieving compactness, diversity, and flexibility of the cabinet scheme through the selection of standard components and standard assemblies; the modular structure can accommodate up to 36 units; without reducing the protection level, three-position conversion of the module circuit can be achieved.

The MDmax ST intelligent low-voltage complete switchgear adopts a modular structural design, achieving compactness, diversity, and flexibility of the cabinet scheme through the selection of standard components and standard assemblies. It can be combined into different types of switchgear according to requirements, such as fixed type, fixed partition type, and drawer type. In terms of functionality, it considers power distribution, reactive power compensation, motor control centers (MCC), AC frequency conversion devices, soft starter devices, etc.

● The top cover of the horizontal busbar area is removable.
● Equipped with arc prevention design, high continuity and reliability of equipment operation, ensuring personal safety.
● Has three functional units: drawer type, movable type, and plug-in type, which can be freely combined into different types within the cabinet (drawer type, movable type, and plug-in type can be mixed installed).
● Drawer type structure, S-type drawers can accommodate up to 36 circuits, U-type drawers can accommodate up to 48 circuits.
● S-type drawers can achieve three-position conversion of drawer circuits without reducing the protection level.
● Drawer movable component position positioning, can match sound, light, and text indicators.
● Drawers larger than 8E adopt a rocker-type plug-in mechanism design, making drawer insertion and removal more labor-saving and safe.
● Complete drawer-type electric operation circuit solution.
● The separation type can reach the 4b separation form specified in GB7251.12-2013 and IEC61439-1.
